No website, but a Twitter
At the moment, the Taboo VR gang doesn’t have a dedicated website, though they do appear to have a Twitter account. If I’m mistaken, I’m sure someone will correct me in the comments or Twitter.
I encourage these studios to throw a website together. Even if it’s just a quickie. Make it easy for people like me to help you. Put a site together that’s got all your basic info and dealio, your VR porn vision, what you want your business to accomplish, etc. Get something online and you can also use it to push traffic over to the aggregators distributing your work. You can also use it for…a lot of promotional/marketing purposes.

Image quality/clarity of Taboo VR?
In the scenes I surveyed, I saw some distortion with scale, sense of spatial correctness, and optical clarity. There’s something a bit strange about the file size as, for instance, there’s a 4K that’s 1.5 GB and a “Max Quality” 4K that’s 8.3GB. I’m capable of exploring this and figuring something out probably, but I don’t feel like investing the time in that pursuit.
So, the optics aren’t ready for prime time. But, read on because I wouldn’t be surprised if this very new studio does some very good work in 2022.
Camera positioning skill?
Taboo VR does employ some very sophisticated—as far as I’m concerned—truncation with both the missionary and doggy. And, I big time fucking appreciate seeing that. Honestly, I was a bit surprised to see what I consider to be a high-level technique that some major VR porn studios avoid trying (for whatever reason).
So, props on that. Keep going this direction Taboo VR. I expect great things out of you folks down the line.
Intimate presence manifested and maintained?
Well, I think when the optics are better sorted out the intimacy and immersion will likely be quite high (as, they are indeed truncating footage! …a lot of people still haven’t figured out that truncation is very very fucking immersive.) But, there’s some work to be done on the way to delivering the type of finesse optics I’m envisioning.
Is Taboo VR worth it?
Sure, if you’ve got a VRporn subscription, give these guys a chance and some support. We need to encourage and help out these new studios of today so we can have some more great VR porn studios down the line.
