I decided to try and clean out the Findvrporn.com drafts folder today. And, I saw this post. Why didn’t I finish it on December 28, 2021 and publish it? It’s basically finished. Why did I leave it as a draft? I don’t fucking know.

So, there appears to be a studio brand new to the VR side: Jack and Jill VR.
Previous 2D foundation and experience
Now, this gets interesting because it gets a little complicated, but let’s try and sort through it together, because they certainly don’t seem to be new to the porn industry. It appears they’ve already found some considerable 2D success in places like Only Fans, Chaturbate, cam shows, Twitter, Many Vids…you get the idea.
So, we’ve seen this pattern any number of times where an existing 2D outfit ventures over into the 3D realm. And, sometimes it’s done in spectacular fashion: as with CVR, Naughty, and Wankz to name just a few…

Now, at the end of their video, I saw it had a web address for jackandjill.app. Okay, let’s load that into the browser and see what happens. Ah, there’s a description over there:

Now, if you follow that link and explore their website you may feel—as I did—that it’s a bit complicated. There’s a fan club and a calendar and Live VR that’s partnered with Terpon (by the way, this Terpon gang looks interesting)…
You got to understand: I’m a simple man. I can’t sort through all that stuff. I just look at VR porn scenes and make judgments about their quality based on the standards that were developed here. And, that’s what we’re going to do below. But, first… let me give you my thoughts about their self-description.

Okay, it’s starting to come into focus for me a bit. We got a husband-wife team who put together a porn studio with an intensely authentic sexual projection along with a general ethos valuing sincere sexual portrayals.
All right. I can deal with that. You’ll notice I’m always praising what #findvrporn calls pornstar authenticity.
Enough #findvrporn loquacious bullshit: HOW’S THE JACK AND JILL VR OPTICAL QUALITY?
Well, bear in mind I only saw their single scene—Rita’s First Double Team in VR—over at VRporn.
Here’s the bad part: The optical quality is okay. I wouldn’t call it solidly okay. I’d call it okay. The scale, to my surprise, seems about right. But, there are some convergence issues that need to be sorted out.
For a first VR scene release—if this is indeed their first(?)—they’re off to a good start. This is a fine baseline to improve from…but, Jack and Jill VR’s got a long way to go—optically speaking—when compared to the level of Czech, Bangers, Wankz, et. al.
With that said, with these discussions of “amateur VR porn,” I’m always going to raise the important point that studios like these very often are not trying to be a Wankz or Bangers. There’s very often a different value system at work.
And, I can already see that’s the case here.
But, with that said…even if one is championing self-discovery, realness and general authenticity: you still need to deliver that with a bit better optical quality. What I’m saying is that these things are not mutually exclusive. You can have a VR porn studio that doesn’t succumb to over-acting, phony stuff and cliche porn tropes while still delivering a top-tier VR porn optical experience.
Like I said, though, these good folks are just getting started on the 3D side of things.
So, they’re off to a good start. The scene I saw was some fun stuff that featured two gals/two dudes in a foursome fuck scenario filmed from a 3rd person POV. And, I think they did deliver a feeling of sexual authenticity.
