Eh, you could argue this any number of ways. You could argue about AI itself starting off in the 1950s. But, here’s the thing. We’re not in the university.

You can bicker over things or you can talk about how things play out IN REAL LIFE. The impression that things make IN REAL LIFE.

Take VR Porn. Believe me, I know all about VR porn and its history. I know more about it than I wished I did. I know more about how this industry actually works than I wish I did. I know what’s legit. I know who’s a fucking crook. I know who’s cool. I know who’s not. I know who pushed things forward. And, who didn’t…Anyway…

And, as far as I’m concerned, VR porn started in the summer of 2015 with Naughty America’s entrance into the “VR space.” And, yes yes yes… I know. I know. I already fucking know. But, that’s my point of view, and I’m sticking with it. As far as a marketable commodity, that’s when it started. As far as a commodity with a bit of a slick veneer put over it…something shiny that you could easily stick a price tag on… that’s when it started. Something that got people talking online and in life…

And, I’ll probably be arguing for many years to come that AI Porn… IN REAL LIFE…kicked off in the summer of 2023. Yes, I know the response fucking already. I already know. I can hear you in my mind. I know. I know. I already fucking know.

But… IN REAL LIFE…it was in the summer of 2023 that AI (and AI porn) first seemed to enter into the MASS CONSCIOUSNESS a little bit. And, not even that much. But, that’s the summer where mothers are sort of asking their kids about AI. That’s where it seemed like there were suddenly A BUNCH…and, I mean A FUCKING BUNCH of AI PORN image generators along with AI GIRLFRIEND apps >> Dream GF review.

And, I mean A LOT! There’s too many. It’s a rush for cash. Most of these operations are not going to last. They’ve over crowded the space. What am I basing that on…the most reliable data source I know…my fucking gut.

AI Moved Much Faster Than VR

There’s no disputing this. In retrospect VR porn moved SLOW AS HELL! I’d argue that it’s still going really fucking slow. I’d argue that adoption rates suck. I’d argue that in terms of VR porn productions there is very little innovation.

Now, I’ve discussed the reasons for this elsewhere. VR porn innovation doesn’t seem to get rewarded in the marketplace. A lot of it comes down to it being a small market with a bunch of boring consumers…and, the more boring they are the bigger mouths they have on various asshole subreddits such as Oculus NSFW with its moderator affiliate spam pinned to the top…that place is so crooked and boring, but it’s a good reference point for the VR porn market…at least so it would appear. I see that subreddit dying now also. I think that’s wonderful.

Anyway, BaDoinkVR, in the beginning, wanted to be innovative. I was there publishing about it all as it unfolded. Blondie and Big Man. I could go on…WankzVR wanted to innovate with Zombie Slayers, etc.

But, the market didn’t want innovation.

Anyway, let’s not get too sidetracked. I’m writing like shit, but I never said I was Ernie Hemingway.

Anyway, AI PORN IS MOVING FAST AS FUCK! I’m telling you…I’ve now been working in the AI porn industry doing various things for several months now… and, long weeks…like 70 hour work weeks…and, IT IS MOVING FAST AS SHIT!

AI Porn has a very low barrier of entry. It’s completely unlike VR porn in that regard. It’s so much easier in comparison to launch an AI porn image generator or basic sexting application. That’s why we’re seeing this digital gold rush. Like I said…most aren’t going to last. A few years from now I’ll be editing my articles and adding little annotations about how such-and-such a company is an interesting historical footnote to the development of AI porn. Guaranteed.

What Will Happen To Porn In The Future?

AR Porn was kind of the hokey doke. AR Porn was sort of the misdirect. It will be extremely relevant in the future, but for now it’s looking like the hokey doke in this moment of time.

We can see that with Apple’s new gizmo and Zuck’s new gizmo that these devices that aren’t even here yet suddenly seem out-of-step and behind the times. I saw this fucking coming.

No, VR porn isn’t going away for a very long while yet. And, these days “a very long while” can mean something that wouldn’t seem very long twenty years ago. But, I can tell you this: the VR porn that’s coming IS A VERY DIFFERENT TYPE OF VR PORN! I can tell you that with great certainty.

I’ve been telling people for the past couple years that this was coming. I said, “Hey, you got to pay me. I’m not giving away my ideas for free this time.” Like the stupid asshole I am…last time around I published all my ideas here, and many of them got used, and I ended up drunk in the ghetto with my thumb up my ass like an asshole.

I think from an actual CONTENT perspective I did everything right with this website over the past 8 years. I think from a BUSINESS perspective I did damn near every fucking thing wrong.

I’ve been saying that this shit was just around the corner and that you better get ahead of it or you’re going to get buried. I’ve had conversations and shit with people.

And, it’s happening. And, a lot of businesses and things in all sectors are going under. ALL SECTORS OF LIFE! And, porn’s going to be hit FUCKING HARD too. New millionaires and new broke people. It’s happening right now. I tried telling people.
