I personally appreciate, of course, scenes that combine outlier sexual performances with excellence in production, execution and general VR porn optics. Why?

In this Bangers effort, Ivy felicitously embodies the stripper role: and,  those facial expressions! Horny! The stripclub/stripper setting is simply made for VR. Wouldn’t you agree?

Stripclubs can be fun, but I’ve never personally left a stripclub with a dollar in my pocket. I’m just telling the painful truth here! I wasn’t a big stripclub guy, but every time I left I was broke and felt stupid. Save your singles, guys. I haven’t visited a stripclub since the advent of VR porn…and, if you watch this scene, you’ll see why.

Stripclub and burlesque terminology

VR Bangers distinguishes between the term stripclub and burlesque. They argue, “Burlesque is like a regular striptease, but in a much more stylish and attractive way – and requires some additional skills that can be very hard to find in a typical stripper.” This is just the type of semantic bickering that gets me fully hard! Love it!

And, I’ll go with that. Ivy is extremely stylish in both her movements and physicality here. I don’t often comment on this, but a fantastic job was done by hair and make-up in this release. Ivy looks fucking great. Really well done.

VR Porn Optics

The set with the purple-themed private strip club room is gorgeous. The expected Bangers clarity and general spatial correctness is there, of course. But, beyond that, the lighting and color saturation levels are just fucking magnificent. This is exactly what warrants the admission price in this highly  competitive market. Some while back I personally pulled the $250 out of my pocket for a lifetime subscription. When I’m typing in my own credit card numbers: that really says it all.

Holy grail Christiana Cinn Bangers scene

 Now, honestly, the Bangers scenes are all consistently professional-grade VR porn. In my opinion, their VR porn breakthrough came in February 2019 with Christiana Cinn’s scene.

I consider that to be their holy grail scene, and from a technical perspective it’s shot better than this present effort. It employs some moving camera work. But, in addition, the camera is all-around positioned better which is seen during a hovering missionary perspective that is pictured below. That scene also had a sideways, lean-back truncated reverse cowgirl that I want to see much more frequently.

This is wonderful stuff and made me fully fall in love with Christiana’s beautiful face and gorgeous pussy.

Arguably, this might be a case where my particular desires don’t conform with the mass feedback received. And, a business has to go with the majority of the subscriber base. Nonetheless, that is a damn good scene for every VR porn fan to revisit!

VR Bangers consistency and ambition

Now, with that said, VR Bangers has remained a very consistent performer from 2019 through today. There really isn’t a point where I detect a significant decline in overall quality. I give credit where it’s due, and I feel confident that any new Bangers release will check all the required boxes to be in the world-class, professional grade VR porn category. Are there additional things I want to see? Yes, of course. But, all the fundamentals will be competently covered.

Additionally, I would say their ambitious scope has only increased as they’ve gone along. I like that! This is evident when you watch releases such as VRB World Cup 2022, which features 7 A-list porn women on a wonderful soccer set. I want to see a studio get more ambitious as it goes along. That’s how it’s supposed to work.

World class VR porn sets

VR Bangers, to their credit, doesn’t often cheap-out on sets. So much VR porn cuts corners with the setting. If you scroll through the Bangers library, you can see they expend the time, effort and cash to treat these scenes as professional productions. The emphasis there is on productions. I like that.

Some are better than others. I don’t love every scene they release. There are some that I watch once and ditch. And, there are some that will stay on my Quest for a year. That’s just the way it is…and, this one is among the best. Okay, let’s talk about it some more.

Mind melting missionary

Returning to Ivy’s latest VR porn scene, the standout segment runs from 35:18 to 38:23. That features a missionary—not truncated—but framed with the correct tight proximity…and, it’s Ivy’s performance, expressions, moaning, dialogue and emotion that will have you replaying this portion as you take care of your personal business!

Now, if you look at the picture below, this is very well shot and warrants the ticket price. But, it doesn’t hover as much as the Christiana capture above. They should employ a moving camera to fully hover this missionary as seen with Christiana.

Further critique and immersion discussion

Also memorable is the opening striptease, suck job, and cowgirling. Similar to how Naughty America shoots VR, Bangers prizes immersion so you’re dealing with a stationary camera perspective and the woman doing the position changing. This works. Personally, as previously mentioned, I like some moving camera, but I don’t seem to be in the majority with that view.

Want doggy pull-back

Additionally, I want to see the doggy style go into an extended upright pullback. And, I want that in every release. That wasn’t seen here. And, that’s either an oversight or another case where the studio doesn’t prize it as much as I do.

Want truncated missionary

Furthermore, although this did feature two missionary framings…and, as mentioned, the one framing was insanely horny, I personally want at least thirty seconds of truncation that is face-centric along with greater hovering.

Want a longer striptease sequence

Furthermore, while the opening striptease was fine and set the scene…it would have been better if the striptease portion were longer. I consider this a genuine missed opportunity. It’s difficult for me to understand why this didn’t provide a 5 minute striptease/burlesque type performance.

Want more close-ups during nonsexual sequences

One can argue that if you want to “maintain immersion” you can’t really shoot in that manner. I’d tend to agree, but I always thought the whole “immersion” thing gets taken too far.

This scene is a keeper

All things considered, this was a fabulous release. Its strengths were a world-class VR porn optical experience meeting Ivy’s world-class pornographic performance. I’d like to see Welcome To Burlesque made into a series that features different actresses using this as a template.
